Fonts

All four typefaces are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. They are served unmodified from our own domain — your browser never contacts a font service — and they are not offered for download or sale on their own.

Open-source software

The full list of open-source packages we ship, with each copyright notice, full license text and any NOTICE file, is in third-party-notices.txt. It is regenerated on every build, and the build fails if any package uses a license outside our allowlist (MIT, ISC, BSD, Apache-2.0, 0BSD, Unlicense, CC0-1.0, OFL-1.1).

Timelock encryption uses tlock-js by the drand team (Apache-2.0 OR MIT). Capsules can be opened with drand's own tools — see how.

Artwork

The wax seal, envelopes, paper textures and icons are original artwork made for Ripenote in SVG and CSS. Interface icons are from Lucide (ISC).
